## Biography

Tim McCormick picked up his first pair of mallets in 1979; the vibraphone has been his voice ever since. Drawn to the instrument’s blend of percussion and melody — notes that sustain, breathe, and decay like a human voice — he built a full vocabulary before professional stages.

A graduate of the University of North Texas College of Music, he has performed at distinguished North Texas venues including The Gaylord Texan, The Petroleum Club, Dallas Arboretum, Six Flags Over Texas, and many exclusive households. He holds a regular featured solo role with the Robson Ranch Big Swinging Band.

What sets Tim apart is versatility: he sings as well as plays. Warm, seasoned vocals rooted in the classic American songbook complement his vibraphone work. No backing tracks. No shortcuts. Live music with intention.

Available for weddings, corporate engagements, restaurants, private events, and exclusive home gatherings throughout the DFW Metroplex. Select travel available.

## Philosophy

The music should enhance the experience, not compete with it. Wedding dinners stay warm and intimate; corporate galas stay distinguished. Right ensemble, repertoire, and volume for the room.

Ensemble curation (intimate piano-bass-vibes trio through quartet or larger) prioritizes seasoned pros who know when to lay back.
